2-day course | Small Boat Repair with Fibreglass – Instructor: Rod Tait, Orca Boats

This two-day course provides practical instruction in basic fiberglass repair techniques for small boats such as canoes, kayaks, dinghies, and tenders. Participants will learn how to assess damage, prepare surfaces, cut and apply fiberglass cloth, mix and apply resin, and complete basic fairing and finishing.

The course focuses on safe working practices and hands-on learning. Participants are encouraged to bring a small repair project, if appropriate.

Participants are encouraged to bring something that needs repairs.

Skill level: Beginner

Outcome: Confidence in basic fiberglass repair and maintenance
